Nigerian fast-rising producer Ronehi and Houston based Hermez’s first track together, ‘TSA’, is a hazy trap-alté riddim tracking a smoked-out journey through airport security checks. It starts with a Jamaican-inspired sample that keeps listeners trying to untangle and make sense of the words, at the end we’re left with an audible reminder of what matters “... keep on smiling.”

Ronehi’s production on TSA is dark and minimal, yet punchy with percussive sounds which pairs well with Hermez’ mood throughout the track - confident bravado and clearly personified through his “solid but jaded, bar that we raising” and “…passed through TSA, they ain’t even smell the trees”. The percussion is consistently rhythmic, creating a cohesive track that you might just want to smoke and chill to on a comfortable sofa or drive around a city in the evening listening to it with close friends. As an artist, Hermez continues to show dexterity with his pure, soft vocals and we look forward to what he has next.
